The Unique Look of the Kohler Alterna Faucet

Many faucets look different.  Some look antique, some look modern, and some look just different.  These types of faucets often call attention to themselves, and that’s almost always the point of buying and installing them.  One of the most distinct faucets is the Kohler Alterna faucet.  The Kohler Alterna line comes in several different designs and colors, including silver, brass, and gold.

One of the signature styles of the Kohler Alterna line is its square handles.  While not all Alterna models have square handles, many do.  These square knobs turn easily and fit nicely in the palm of the hand.  The other style of handles that generally go with Kohler Alterna faucets are small bar handles.  These small bars aren’t as long as other handles, but they’re still easy enough to turn. 

But there’s more to the Kohler Alterna faucets than their unique handles.  The faucet itself is often very different.  Some are half circles.  These faucets almost look like fountains, and they’re sure to make anyone who uses your bathroom comment on how different and interesting they are.  If you’re looking for something ultra-modern, this style of Alterna faucet is exactly what you want.

On the other hand, if you want something a bit different, the Alterna deck-mount high-flow faucet is certain different.  Instead of a standard faucet with a neck, it’s a flat, square faucet that provides a large amount of water at once.  This type of faucet is almost like having a small waterfall in your bathroom sink.  Once again, it’s something that is sure to be noticed.

Finally, some of the Kohler Alterna faucets do look similar to standard faucets.  However, the neck on these faucets is usually more horizontal than vertical, and it is usually stretched out more than standard faucets.  This Alterna faucet is the most “normal” looking faucet.  If you’re looking for a faucet that isn’t a total departure from the norm but looks a bit different, this style is it.
